Our gathering was a local backyard wedding, where we, our family, and many of our friends collaboratively worked together in preparation for the BIG DAY. As our spectacular wedding florist and coordinator, decorating and planning would have been extremely difficult had Nia not been there with her gentle, warm energy to guide us every step of the way. She was professional, incredibly kind and creative from the start. She took the lead and provided thoughtful guidance to us, our family, and friends as we fumbled our way through creating each floral piece.
We loved how she invited us to help with the picking and gathering of various tropical leaves for our centerpieces and teaching us about each native plant. It was an exciting and educational process, which made the final outcome feel that much more meaningful to us. She was also flexible in that if we had any ideas, she would find a way to incorporate it and make it better. For instance, inspired by our aunt's resources, she helped create beautiful pallets with tropical flowers, leaves and candles that romantically floated in the pool throughout the night. This, along with many of her lovely decorations, pulled the entire space together giving the setting an incredibly unique, stylish and magical feel - far beyond anything we could have dreamed of. She did an absolutely phenomenal job!
To say we are grateful and in awe of the quality of her work and professionalism is an understatement. Most importantly, mahalo nui for reminding us to find and celebrate joy in this crazy and special process. Nia, having you by our side was a dream come true. Thank you for helping to coordinate such a beautiful day which we will remember for the rest of our lives. We love you endlessly!!
I hire Nia every year for a very large project. This event is extremely important to me as attention to detail, timely delivery and quality products are imperative. NIa consistently handles herself in a professional manner regardless of the inevitable obstacles that occur with events of this size. Nia’s personal and positive attitude is contagious! She adds wonderful perspective and insight to the tasks at hand, all the while spreading the “Aloha Spirit”. Her talent is priceless, however she shares her skills in a very cost effective manner. She truly wants you to love your design and to share her love of flowers. Nia is the “real deal” when it comes to floral creations. She loves what she does and it shows!
Nia made my vision come true for my wedding flowers! She was so wonderful to work with. Throughout the whole process, I was confident that I could trust both her talent and her professionalism. The lei that she made for my husband was perfect, and of course, my lei poʻo and bouquet were my favorite creations of hers. They were stunning and so much lovelier than I could have imagined. We had elected to do a lei making session with my family as part of the rehearsal dinner/party, and it was amazing, everybody had so much fun. Then she did the head lei for me and the floral decorations for my wedding.
When I arrived for my wedding and walked into the venue it was beyond my expectations. I felt so calm because my wedding looked absolutely stunning with the work she did.
